Pregnancy is an amazing time in a woman’s life and it is also a time of physical change. Current research shows that it is crucial for women to stay active during their pregnancy for their health and for the health of the baby. This Pre & Post Natal Pilates Box Set has been created by Pilates expert, Caroline Sandry, for women to practise while they move through the different stages of pregnancy, birth and post natal recovery. Caroline Sandry is a fully qualified Pilates teacher, Yoga teacher and personal trainer.

Prenatal & Postnatal PilatesThis app includes 2 prenatal and 1 postnatal workout programs:

PRENATAL PILATES - Strengthen & Sculpt
This routine was created for women at any trimester. Practising these programs, will help you stay strong and supple and will prepare you for labour, delivery and beyond. Filmed when Caroline was 17 weeks pregnant, the program consists of a 20 minute total body workout, a 20 minute standing workout and a 20 minute floor workout. In addition there is a solutions section to address problems women may incur while pregnant, like swollen ankles or backache.

PRENATAL PILATES - Tone & Tighten
This program was designed to keep you in shape throughout your pregnancy and was filmed when Caroline was 32 weeks pregnant. The program consists of a 28 minute chair workout, 37 minute mat workout and 19 minute bonus ball workout. It has been carefully choreographed to strengthen your muscles which help you carry around the extra weight of your baby, preventing injury, muscle aches and imbalances. As well as helping you through the 9 prenatal months, these exercises will help you through labour and delivery, and will also help your post natal recovery.

POSTNATAL PILATES
Filmed 20 weeks after her baby was born. It has been designed to practise progressively in different stages immediately after the birth or as soon as you feel able. The program includes a detailed tutorial breaking down the stages. Stage 1 should be performed for a minimum of 2 weeks after the birth, Stage 2 should be performed after Stage 1 has been completed and you have passed the rec-check. You may start the Workout 1 or Workout 2 once you practised and passed Stage 1 & Stage 2. In addition, this program includes a workout for you and your baby.
